Respite is temporary care provided by organisations to people living at home with care needs. This service provides the carer/s a break to rest, work, get things done and maintain self-care to support their own wellbeing.
For the person with care needs, respite can be an opportunity to enjoy new relationships and activities away from their family or carer/s.
